As a copywriter in Portland, I immersed myself in 6.0, Nike's former action sports brand. Working closely with designers and creative directors to help articulate and write Retail Visual Center decks, I also contributed creative and wrote scripts for 6.0 pitches, commercial ideas, rebranding efforts and other collateral for surf, ski, skate, and more. For Nike Apparel I lead a team of designers on rebranding Nike T Shirts and presenting store display strategies. With Nike Running, I wrote instore signage and digital ads for several new running shoes, all of which had unique technical specifications that translated to direct consumer advantage. Through it all I worked directly with Nike, pitching ideas and attending meetings on their Beaverton campus, learning their culture to best understand and articulate Nike product value.
